“Had a good stay. Location is perfect. Beautiful history and love the four poster bed and atmospheric decor. Very disorientating how the floor slants and leaves you unbalanced when walking around which is problematic in the shower where there is no mat and it is slippy. There is not enough breakfast for the price. Toilet did not flush and so had to report to staff who got it fixed during the day. Overall meet our needs but probably will not stay again.”

“We had room 11, in the back part of the old property. It seemed a little strange to be in a room directly next to a back eating area, but it was not a problem at all. It was a great spacious comfortable room with lots of character. The staff were all incredibly friendly. We had medication for my girlfriend that needs to stay refrigerated, they put it in the kitchen fridge no problem. We checked out and returned for lunch for the steak pie. It was so good, I cut in to it and saw god. It was definitely, and always will be worth the made-to-order wait time. I would absolutely come back for room 11, and stay here again and again!”
