“Great restaurant and bar frequented by locals that know where to eat well. The choices of plates is most creative and tasty. Happy to recommend this hotel near museums and the train terminal.”

“An adequate hotel in a busy location. Positives: friendly staff, early check-in possible. Negatives: the ‘superior’ rooms facing the street are noisy, and the standard ones very dark (mine faced a wall). You only get what I consider 4-star hotel standard supplies in the more expensive rooms: the rest have no coffee maker and only shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom (no moisturiser, conditioner or even shower caps). Although the hotel is supposedly non-smoking, one of our rooms reeked of stale tobacco - the previous guest must have chain-smoked inside! Unless you need to be near Atocha, I’m sure there are much better options in Madrid for the same price.”
